REPORT ON ORDINANCE No.........................of 1927 .

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled ail
Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of the Directors
of the Japanese Residents Association of Hong Kong (Hong Kong Nipponjin Kwai 香港日本人會), and I am of opinion tiat
bhe Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor' s
instructions.
2.
The object of this Ordinance is to incorporate the
Directors of the Japanese Residents Association of Hong Kong
in order to enable them to hold immovable property in per-
petual succession. The Ordinance follows the general form
of incorporation Ordinances.
3. The appointment of directors, and all matters of inter-
nal management, such as the majority required for any decision
of the directors and the machinery for the alteration of the
constitution, are left to be decided in accordance with the
constitution of the association for the time being.
